Starting over...

Well, I lost about 40 pounds over the last 5 months or so, then gained back a few pounds over the holidays. Now, I need to get my act together and get back on track. I know what to do, I just need to do it. So I thought I would start a new diary and start posting my weight each week and anything else that I think might be relevant.

Wish me luck!

Hello WilTX,

You joined the Valentines Day Challenge, Im the one who came up with the idea, but other people mainly due to experience were able to set it up. But I noticed that you are just about the same weight as me. I used to be 320 pounds, back two years ago. And lost fifty pounds about. Now I am back up to, as of this morning, I have a nasty habit of checking my weight too often or not at all, but this morning my weight was 283.4... its a start, one pound, one oz at a time.

I hope you reach your goal in the VDAY challenge and I hope your experience will be healthy. I too binged all my life. I still binge, which is a problem. They are going to have me see a DBT therpist. Its apart of the bpd. The way I eat is dictated, or used to be by my feelings and emotions. I checked out your other diary.

Best wishes
and you sound like you are doing awesome. Taking off that weight has probably made you feel so good. Holidays can be bad for the diet/ or as I call it, lifestyle change. Anyway best wishes!

Hey man, glad to hear you're ready to hit this full steam ahead. Happy new year, btw.

So are you going to be using the plan I threw together for you as guide or what?

I'm looking forward to the challenge, I'm glad you set that up. I haven't done one before but I think having kind of a definite time frame and goal in mind will be right up my alley. I'm check in with that thread and keep up with your progress.

I guess I'm using your plan as a guideline. I'll be honest, the more I look at it, the more overwhelming it is. And I don't mean that as a criticism. It was just information overload. So I'm going to sort of re-set and try to work in little bits of it as I go along.

I'd appreciate it.

For the time being, that plan is something to work towards. It's what I would consider optimal given your specifics. It's not expected that you pick up tomorrow and start it from A to Z.

But we'll discuss it further once you email me.

Take your time.
