starting over

So for as long as i can remember ive always said "this week im starting..and im gonna lose weight" ..honestly who hasnt said that!

But thinking back in october of '07 i said...im gonna give myself 3 months to work out...eat healthy and lose 30ibs.. well 7mths later im NOT 20ibs down...but still at my same weight...

Its now may..summers around the corner..and i defs DONOT want this to be another shitty summer...cant wear shorts..cant wear bathing suit...cant do this..cant do that I DONT WANT THIS ANYMORE

I really need to get with a plan and seriously start thinking about this.
SO starting TODAY..not tommorow...not next week BUT TODAY iam GOING TO GIVE myself 3 months and lose some effing weight!! I will take my measurments and weight tommorow...

Does anyone have a good meal plan, thats helping them thought there journey...i dont liek tuna or fish..and chicken gets gross after eating it every single day. I love all veggies :D I feel like i can do this..and I know on here i have the support so YAY

..PS sorry for they crazy rant..im just so mad at myself!! :nopity:

you really should have a diary -makes it a lot easier to get support when all your thoughts are in one place...

Keep track of your calories and stay within a reasonable range (use the formula that's in the stickied threads to give yourself an approximate range yo shoot for) Keep track of your calories and eat what you like.

You will never be successful on this if you are depriving yourself and thinking of it as adiet - it has to be a lifestyle change - where you incorporate what you enjoy...
 
Hi. :) I used to be in your shoes. Sometimes I still feel like it...

What I had to start doing was work on changing my diet one meal at a time. The first week, work on eating a healthier breakfast. I used to only have cereal (loaded with sugar!) or muffins, and crap like that. Now, most mornings, I have scrambled eggs (2 whole eggs and 2 egg whites). If I'm still hungry, I'll eat some fruit. After that, it was lunch, and then dinner. Starting out slowly really helped. Also, my trainer had me keep a food journal that I had to bring in every week for the first couple months. It won't help me now, but back then it helped a little to make me realize how much I was actually eating. For lunch and dinner, I usually have fat free hot dogs, very lean beef, grilled chicken (I will throw in a little of brown rice or use a small amount of ranch for some flavor) and turkey. I keep telling myself I'll eat more vegetables, but that is the one thing I can't make myself do. As for snacks, it will usually be fruit, sugar free cookies, or something else that is generally low in calories. You sound exactly what I was like up until a year ago. Since then, I am down 105 pounds. Before that, I was working out at the gym, but I wasn't being serious and failed to change my diet. I was kidding myself, and until I made the choice to give up eating crap that was doing me no favors, I was just simply staying the way I was. I was going to wish you good luck, but you don't need luck. You need willpower. You have it in you, if I can do it, so can you!

If you truly are starting today then why take your measurments and weight tommorow???

PROVE and COMMIT to yourself that you're starting today and take your measurments and weight NOW! :)
