Ok signed up for a gym and it has a pool included
I am 5'1" and am hovering at about 300 lbs.
When I was at 265 and working out I had been up to 15 mins on an eliptical and 30-40 mins on treadmill (all in same day)
I obviously need to start from scratch.
Would like to do both elipitical and treadmill and alternate with days of swimming?
Any recommendations on good starting times or how often to do each.
I'd like to aim for minimum of 4 days a week.
Obvious goal is to lose weight- mostly in abdomen and butt, reduce risk of high blood pressure, cholesterol and pre-diabetes. Yes I have the doctor's ok to move, move, move....
Would also keep in mind that I have a bad hip somehow related to my lower back... have had this problem for years even when I was 180 lbs at age 18, so not any worse with weight, but obviously an issue.
Any advice or recommendations are welcome. Thanks
