Starting out again

Hi, My name is Beth and I am once again on the diet train! WOOHOOO!

Most of my life I a have been over weight until one day, rather than by a size 20 jeans cause my 18's wouldn't fit anymore, I went to a clinic and lost a 100 pounds. I have never been so thin and felt so good about my self in all my life...I loved it!

That was 6 years ago. 2 years ago I got married a wonderful man who tells me I am beautiful every day and never makes me feel any less. Must be why I have gained back 50 pounds...he just keeps telling me I am beautiful! LOL

We are trying to have a baby and hope that will happen soon, but we have been trying since we got married. And so while I have been packing on the pounds, I have been thinking "oh, I will just go on a diet after the baby gets here". That line of thinking coupled with 24 months and no baby is most likely why I have packed on the pounds. So, even if I get pregnant tomorrow, I need not gain another pound today and it wouldn't hurt to lose a few (50?) before I get PG anyway.

So in a nut shell, that's why i am here. I want to lose some weight until I get PG (could be next month could be next year) and then once the baby is here, I want to get back to the weight that I was when I lost the first 100 pounds.

I am 31, I lift weights and do cardio 4-5 times a week and have for the last 6years...that is the one thing that I did not give up on even while I have been gaining weight. I don't eat all that bad, no fast food or anything, but I don't eat as healthy as I use to either. Seems like every day I am just one pound heavier and its getting a little discouraging. I don't want to buy bigger clothes...just want to fit into the ones that I have :D

By the way, how can I get one of those little ticker things at the bottom?

You were asking about starting your own diary. Go to http://weight-loss.fitness.com/weight-loss-diary/ and click the orange square that says New Thread above the list of other peoples diaries and below Search forums. There you can write the first entry to your new diary. The title becomes the title of your whole diary shown in the diary list.
Good luck with your weight-loss and I'm sure we can make the journey a bit more interesting and easier for you! :)

Hello Beth and Welcome to the Forums hun

We are all in the same boat here and we will support you in your efforts to lose weight. My current weight is 179 and I need to get to 140. It's not going to be an easy road but we all gotta do it to get healthier. Hugs to you... and good luck! :)
