Starting Off

So I started committing to weight loss about two months ago, but I had a tough start. I decided to start running and ended up injuring my toe. I was running in shoes that were too small and severely bruised my toe. This stopped my running for several weeks. After some research, I decided to go to a running store and got fitted in a pair of Brooks shoes. I'm back to running (I also do crunches and push-ups). I'm just wondering if there's anything I should know before I hurt myself again?

I also had a couple specific questions:

- I'm super busy (part time student, full time work) and have a problem with meals. I tend to not really eat until night, when I binge. What do you do for quick healthy meals to eat on the go?

- I know cardio is supposed to be really good for weight loss, what cardio plan do you use?

- and other general tips?

I recommend trying to set a few hours aside during the week, or weekend, to prep your meals. It's kind of a pain because like myself, I'll spend part of a Sunday in the kitchen cooking. BUT, it's nice to have a stocked fridge (or freezer) with pre-made meals so I can take one to work for lunch. You can do this for breakfast and even dinner too.
