Starting anew....

I figured this would be a good thread for me to show my progress.

Here is what I looked like in May from random pictures my GF took:

That was after 4 months of SOLID FBW bodyweight training under a crazy regimen (September - December) with carb/protein loaded diet, and then 5 months of slackin off (hence the May pictures).

My physique hasn't really changed, other than the fact I've lost a little mass from having so much cardio (riding BMX and MTBs). So I've slimmed back down. It's what seems to happen to me in the summer.

Today after my 1st session in the gym:

My routine:

I've decided to track my progress here. I want to gain a TON of mass. Granted, LEAN mass. I want to stay as ripped as possible, and just gain muscle. The regimen I've set-up is pretty demanding. I will be posting weekly pictures, likely every Tuesday night to see if the 7 meals a day and INTENSE work-out shows progress in pictures. I'm assuming it will, but I want to see just how hard I can push myself and what the end result is.

I would like to hear your comments!

Yeh, you could benefit with some mass, you look a tad skinny at the moment :p

(hair is awesome btw)

Yeah, I have this ectomorph problem :) In all seriousness though, in September of last year, I was MUCH MUCH skinnier:

You can still put on mass and keep lean if you are eating clean nutritional dense food. I would suggest having more balanced meals, like chicken, vegies and some almonds (for the good fat). When I first started out I fell into the trap of using too many supplements and I found by eating more quality dense food i was able to add a lot more size and still stay lean. Granted taking supplements makes it a lot easier to get the protein you need but I think you should try and balance it out. Check my profile for my website and my tips. Let me know if you have any questions.

As it sits, I eat A LOT of meat. Well, really, the problem is that's all I eat. I eat hardly any veggies. So getting the dense protein isn't hard, it's completing the other macro nutrients found in veggies that makes my diet difficult.

I went and bought:

Zinc supplements for aiding my immune system, recovery, energy production and insulin production.

Omega 3 fish oil supps for heart and preventing osteoarthritis as well as joint maintenance.

And a good multivitamin since I do not eat much veggies to help fill the gaps in my diet.

It was hard stuffing meals down my face today. Guess I have to let my stomach stretch, lol.

i think you need to put on some weight man. great base to build on though
