Started foootball workouts,

Well here I am, fifteen years old, and I just started "really" working out this year. I am doing my school workouts with the football team, and this past Christmas I got a new workout system. And basically, I am just wondering if I waited to late. Most everyone else had the advantage of having a workout system at home, and I just got one recently. They have probably been "really" working out since 7th grade. Now I am wishing I would have had a workout machine to use when I was in the major developing age...or puberty. What age does puberty stop anyways? But back to the point, I weigh 135 on most days. I have noticeably gained muscle since I've started working out, but I just don't feel satisfied. I get discouraged when I look at my weight. My weight sticks around 135, 137, 132. I have tried protein shakes, but I am off them now because I can't bear the taste. And I really hate my chest. Because I'm not seeing much development in it. I seem to have that "bird chest" type thing. And that's what I currently hate the most. I mainly work on my chest anyways. When I workout at home I do:

standard press 3x10
vertical butterfly 3x10
inclined press 3x10

yet still not satisfying results.
can anyone relate?
my dad has a massive chest,
I'm not sure where mine came from.
Apparently, not him. /=

It is certainly not too late for you. When he was your age, Michael Jordan could not make his high school varsity basketball team! Imagine if he let that discourage him!

Everyone develops at different rates. Your body is certainly not done developing, and your chest will fill out in time. There is no specific time frame for when those spikes in testosterone level out, but it is safe to say that your body has years left of real growth ahead of it - and that is without getting into the fact that you can build & grow plenty of muscle even after your teenage years. Just look at some of the guys on this site who started far later in life. You are fortunate to be interested in working out & making the most of your potential at such an early age.

Take the time to read the sticky threads around here. They will help you get the basic information you need to know to put together a good workout program that will work hand in hand with your football training and development.

Good luck!
