Honestly, to me I don't look all that different. In my mind I'll always be HUGE, despite people telling me I look great. I think I see the difference mostly in my face.

I'll try to post up some formal before and after pics sometime soon, but for now this gives you the idea and what I'm working from since I just started here at the forum.

I am the same way. Its hard to stop being the fat girl even when your not anymore. Great job so far girly. You wil be a knock out when your done. Plus steve thinks your hot. Have you seen his photos...thats saying something... haha

Thanks for the love guys! Your encouragement is so great. Exactly what I needed today.

Haha Lea, yea I saw them. -waggles eyebrows- Go me! :p

Yea, I don't know if my mindset will ever change. Hopefully with a sexy new body my self confidence will get a gigantic boost. I guess when guys start hitting on me at the gym I'll have to consider it a milestone. rofl.

woot.. woot.. Congratulations for the lost so far!

I can see it definitely in your face, but also you tummy got slimmer a lot.
How long did it took you?

Meh, most guys who 'shop' at gyms are egotistical blowhards, so I wouldn't use that as your metric. :)

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. That's probably one of the most cliche statements that carries the most profoundness and truth. Hopefully in time you'll learn to reidentify yourself; more importantly improve your self-image.

Beauty, in my mind, can come in any shape, size or form.

Regardless, you have a stunning canvas to start with and pretty much whatever you throw at it as you evolve into this lifestyle is going to make it better and better.

-tackles everyone- I <3 you all. Thanks yet again.
Iwanttokeepfit, I started my route to a healthier lifestyle in September so... umm... 3-4months. But there were times where I wasn't fully committed and such. You know how it goes.

Basically I upped my cardio insane amounts because I started up yet another style of martial arts. Then I worked with my friend lifting and it just got even better. It all started though when I decided to go with my mom to Weight Watchers. That's where I lost the first 21lbs.

@ Steve: Haha, totally sarcastic. I hate all the guys at the gym. Maybe not all, but definitely a vast majority. They seem so up on themselves. 'Oh ladies, welcome to the gun show' type of folks or college/high school kids who think they're cool. I'd like to think I'm pretty down to earth so while they'd entertain for ehh.... 10 seconds (or however long they can manage to keep it up. lol), I would VERY quickly get board.
Hey, I might have body issues but I still have my self respect! Any guy who gets me is damn lucky. lol

Thanks for the kind words. I totally agree. Beauty is definitely more than skin deep. It's nice to see there are some men still out there that recognizes this.

(related side note: a guy did hold the door for me at the gym today, so i'd like to report that chivalry is hanging on by a thread!)

I like you. I think we'll keep you around here. :)

Ya, gyms, for the most part are meat markets for the shallow. I'm to the point I can barely tolerate it. Once I get some things out of the way in life, I'll be building a home gym.

And I didn't mean your beauty is on the inside. It's the whole package. Can it improve? Certainly.

Who's couldn't?

But the point is, when you're ready you'll see it on the inside and out.

Even you have not 100% comitted.. The truth is that you have never given up to it..
And see the result.... lost of 46 lbs... You should be very proud at yourself.
I always quitted when I didn't follow my diet for 100%.. Pretty silly of me to give up while I did lose some weight.
Good luck with your journey..... you have come so far already... You can do it!!! =]

Haha. Yay, I have the Steve stamp of approval. I can stay! -makes herself comfy- :) I definitely agree with you. That's what I meant too.

IwanttoKEEPfit, thanks you really are a sweatheart. When things fell through with my friend I was really worried. Kind of a 'oh no, i have to do this all on my own?!' moment if you will. But it's nice to be able to come here and hear such encouragement. Sounds cheesy but it actually helps a lot. I can do it! <3

Awwwwww you are gorgeous!! keep up the great work! We all have our moments of weakness but it sure looks like you have over come them all!

Come to my gym and I'll hit on you.

I can definitely see the loss. Especially in the face. Your face. Not the face of a clock or something. That would be silly.

:party:You go, girl! Props for all your hard work! You are already very pretty; you'll surely be stunning when all is said and done!

Keep up the great work,
ABBA

Thanks guys! I took some before pictures today, so I plan to take more when I reach 200 lbs and we'll see what we have to go off of. I can't wait. Seeing the pictures and the progress is very encouraging.
