Started: 2 stonne to lose

Hi all

I am 43, and fed up with aches and pains my additional weight is adding to my life.

I have lost weight before, but this is a real challenge, with older body and metabolism now,

My plan is to:

1) use fitday software to monitor cals, weight, etc
2) have 6 small snacks, meals a day
3) watch out for too many carbs (i am definitely carb sensitive)
4) up my activity and gym

my weight is currently =204lbs
 
Welcome! Hear you on the pain excess weight causes! Hope you will reach your weight loss and health goals by the knowledge and support found here on this forum!
 
Good Luck with the weight loss.

I have had some issues with my knees lately (before I started losing weight) and after 23 pounds of loss I can tell a huge difference, especially going up steps. IT used to kill my knees and now I feel nothing.

Again good luck with the loss.
 
Hi Dave, welcome. Good luck. It looks like you have a good plan there.

I was at 200 myself, although I'm female, so I do feel your pain.
