Start to current.... well on my way :) 153-128

Hey Guys this is Melissa. Thought i would share my before and current pictures. I am considered "in between" at this point because i have about 10-15 more lbs id like to lose yet.....


First two pics are at 153 when i started my weightloss program.... last two are at 128 where i am sitting right now!!!

I am a bit down because while looking at the pictures, i have toned my abs a good bit... but i feel like there isnt much diff in the area of my legs :( thats my biggest problem area...... any thoughts or ideas on that?!?!? i run like crazy, lift weights for my legs..... and still.... they look just about as big as they were when I started :cuss:

I am please so far though with the new def. i have in my abs.... still have work to do but i am WELL ON MY WAY :):driving:

( oh yeah... dont mind how miserable i am in my last two pics... had the boyfriend take them and he was being obnoxious to try and get my to smile. I said... seriously... this is not a photoshoot... i just want these for my records.)

sigh..... boys hehe
 
Getting very lean legs is possible but you really do have to give yourself a lot of time. It took my wife one full year to go from about 131 to 121 and at that time she finally got very lean legs. I personally like your legs. Enjoy your new body, you've earned it.

Huge difference in your legs. The "side saddles" are completely gone and the backs no longer have a bumpy look. It is sometimes hard to see ourselves when we have a problem area we don't like but trust me your legs are much leaner and the muscles are more defined.
 
You look great, keep it up....even though I think you don't look like you don't need to lose anymore. That's not my place to say, though.
 
You look awesome, such a change and yet I think you look good in your befores. Sexy legs btw, you are hot. :D

thank you to all for all your very sweet compliments and your motivation as well! I really really appreciate all of it. This forum is one of the MAIN reasons i have gotten even to this point. This place is such a motivation to me as well as accountability. I do not have as much disciple on my own... but this website and the fields who i have made here totally rock my world! :hurray:
thanks to Kuranesau, Derrick, and Relly for all of their support in my diary... there are many many others too but that's off the top of my head. If you need some motivation for success... go visit that first guy;s diary... incredibly consistent and successful in his weightloss!!!

haha ya really!!! i noticed that and was like.. nice.

do not be fooled... i dont clean nearly as much as i should!!! hehehe.


no its a crappy bissell vacum... i NEED A DYSON though! Too much dog hair up in dis joint!! hehe
 
WoW Your Abs Look HOT!! BIG IMPROVEMENT OVERALL I need me a pair of legs like that ;)!!! WOOT! :hurray:

I haven't done core exercises for about a month, yours make me want to get motivated with that again.
 
im sorry.. waist.... ummm off the top of my head not sure... i wanna say 4"? its in in my diary though if you check there... prolly about 2-4 pages from the end :)

its so daunting, scarey, Im not sure If I can do it, what if I cant? I felt/feel pretty alone in this.

Just wondering since im embarking on the same jounrey you did...waht did you do? how did you start? how long did it take?

actually... got it at Boscov's last week!! and it was only $9.99 a piece so like $20 for the suit cant beat that!!! ;)

Hey girl. I attempted to lose the weight numberous times and quit shortly into it because it is daunting to try and change EVERYTHING about your eating and lifestyle to get where you want to be. This forum really really helped me. One thing i did was cut out crappy food almost entirely for the first 4 months. No pizza, donuts, chips. I allowed myself treats every now and then and normally that was a once a week beer or cocktail because of social gatherings id go on or something and thats what i personally wanted.

changed the foods i ate.. tried to grill more, less eating out due to not knowing what is in the foods they cool.....


also started to work out no less than 5 times a week!!!! check out my journal... i logged pretty much everything in there... i went through ups and downs... but it may help you see you are only human and that will happen!! start a journal on here... people will encourage u to keep with it. Also.... i want to be 120-115 as well... last few pounds are a bitch... im struggling now to get there... but IT WILL HAPPEN!!! good luck girl!
