squats!

ok just started these... i didnt do them in past cause i thought my legs was ok but now my top looks massive and now my legs need work hehe:D.. so i just did some and started with a weight of 30 kg each side and went for it and crackles from my legs did about 8 then stop did 8 more then couldnt do anymore watsoever. im thinkin lowerin the weight shall i? and how many reps should i do, im guessin these crackles in my legs will go after a while, damn squatting is hard work!:eek:
 
Drop the weight and work on form. A lot of lifting sites have good advice on squatting. Google "Mike Robertson, Squat"
 
I agree...squats just plain suck at first. Keep plugging along and eventually you will enjoy doing them because they are kind of fun. Another good thing is that your entire body will grow just from doing squats...sounds weird but its true
