Spicing up my workout routine

I need help designing new work out routines, I read somewhere that using the same one for a period of time makes it less effective eventually and I know there's many different exercises out there so I was hoping you guys could help me with my routine and make it I can always make something good out of my work out session.

My goal is basically just be fit, healthy and keep manboobs to a minimum (have to look ok for swimming this summer).

The equipment I have is basically, a pair of 16lb dumb-bells, 1 10lbs dumb-bell (dont use it much anymore) and well, the floor and the planet's gravity lol. Anyways my current work out routine is:

0) Leg stretching
1) First I start with 10 push-ups, always been weak in this department, it used to be 5 but I've been progressing on it.
2) I do 10 dumb-bell curls, 16lbs each
3) 20 squats
4) 10 dumb-bell lateral raises
3) 20 sit ups
4) 15 side situps
5) 10 Flat dumb-bell press
6) 20 Leg raise
7) 10 dumb-bell tricep kickback (not 100% sure if thats the right name, the motion resambles skiing)
8) 20 calf raises
9) 10 dumb-bell dead lift

I rest for about 5 mins then repeat. That's what I'm doing right now. Anything else you'd need to know dont doubt in asking me, btw I'm 5'8, my weight is around 145lbs last time I checked.

Thanks in advance!

That concept seems to be a bit inflated through the P90X generation. Merely increasing your weights used or rep range could suffice for your goal. Even something as simple as decreasing your rest time between sets would work.

You might also cut that 5 minute rest time down to 2, don't want your heart rate to drop too much between each round.

A friend also told me about not waiting for your heart rate to drop too much when resting during exercise. Why is it?
