Okay, i'm a little confused. this may sound like stupid questions.... but i don't get it !
Okay, many websites are saying that a mile is 100 calories. so does this mean that at whatever speed, you are still burning the same number of calories per mile? now i realize that when you run you can do a mile in a faster amount of time, but if i jog at a 12 minute mile and can fast walk at a 15 min mile and im burning the same number of calories when im not pressed for time because im on break...... is there a caloric difference?
also, incline. how much does 1 percent incline increase your caloric level per mile?
thanks !
