SOS - Low self esteem and training again after shockz.

OK....first things first...your 175kg??? That means 385lbs and you don't look anything close to that. Was there some kind of typo??

So, you want to lose weight then...are you asking us for help losing weight? I know you asked what we think, but what we think doestn' matter much. What you think about yourself is what matters. If you want to lose weight we can go from there and give you some advice.

As far as how to lose weight after trama goes...i"m not sure I understand the question. I'm sorry that you were in an abusive relationship and I'm so happy for you that we were able to escape it. But I"m not sure the question...do you think abuse takes some toll on your weight loss efforts??

BTW...if you do want my 2 cents...I think you look wonderful. Sure you look middle 40's in your pic, but your not wearing makeup either. I'm only 33 and i"m sure i look middle 40s too before I put on my makeup. Maybe you could lose a few lbs...I guess thats your call. I think you look great though.

Are you in any kind of counseling now?

My honest opinion? You will have a hard time losing weight until you have your mind into it. From your post, I think maybe you should speak with some councilers along with dealing with emotional issues.

Outside that, we can tell you the usual. If you read various forum stickie posts, they will help start you with things such as keeping a food log for a week to take an honest look at what you are eating.

THANX SO MUCH - 2 KIND - Reply - Just Got Home!

WHAT A KIND SISTER YOU ARE!

LOL. It's a typo - I'm 75 kg. I have observed that Americans don't see the type of "black" bodies that are down here near Australia called the South Pacific. Maoris from New Zealand etc are the largest race in the world. People freak when the "All Blacks" of NZ go on the footy field. SORRY 4 NOT BEING SPECIFIC. I just wanted any help I can grab at as I cling to this floating debris. "I'm a winner. I'm a winner." I nearly lost it! Yer so right - I should just decide about myself beyond societal norms - I think I'm a racial victim coz my skin is white and so people assume I am a full blood white person (+ therefore "fat"). Actually I'm only interested in losing 1/2 stone and bulking up the rest to pro fitness.

Hi Jericho,

WOW - 2 responses - didn't expect any! Just loving it!!!

AWESOME POINT ... everything we do comes from a strong convicted mind. I wish I could convict him. You see he still harrasses me and there's police issues. But I'll stick to your advice, stick to my guns, and be brave and have ONE MIND about my SELF CONTROL.

Yes, I'm loving the site with all the recipes and plans etc.
My only request is that we are emailled of a response to a thread because some people don't reply for months and you don't want to be rude and not respond. Is that right or have I missed a technical point?

:sifone:

You Look 20 Something Korrie!

I'm only 33 and i"m sure i look middle 40s too before I put on my makeup.

Had a look at your photo at "View Profile". Hey, you look in your early 20s, very attractive and super well. The child is very beautiful too. :patriot:

Odd question. My honest answer is 'Does it matter?'. Self esteem comes from inside. You have to accept and be comfortable with who you are. My opinion means nothing.

hey, sorry, i didn't see your responces earlier! I have a "date" with my youngest...I'll get back to you when i'm home :) (i might beat you back here anyways )

Here is a helpful suggestion for you...do you have any pictures where you are smiling or look happy? Mental image makes a difference.

no recent smiling photos ...

It's so true that emotions and pain make us look older. So true brother.
