So.. Back in 2008 I had joined the Navy. I was down to about 210 lbs (6 feet tall). I received a medical discharge and kind of lost track of myself and climbed to just short of 260 as of May 2010. I have started eating better, walking, doing some occasional pushups, situps, and some moderate weight lifting.
As of right now, I tend to stick around 235 (Obvious progress, to an extent, though I, myself, cannot really see it in my body).
My overall goal is to end up around 210 again, possibly less but I would not mind at all building up a bit of muscle in my arms or chest and stick around 210 still.
Anyways, that was mostly all back story.
My big issue that I am having is that I would really like to reduce the size of my chest, or at least make it obvious that it is muscle and not fat.
Back when I was preparing for the Navy all I did was run, do pushups, do situps, and occasionally, when I had the chance do some pull ups. I was more focused on dropping the weight and actually being prepared for basic, as opposed to slimming down my stomach, legs, and chest which are my main priority now.
My question is..
What is the best way to slim down chest, legs, and stomach?
I dont have access to a gym at the moment (possibly soon, trying to get a job at one for the free membership)
I do have some weights, probably about 90 lbs worth with 2 dumbbells and a bar. No bench.
Running at this point is very limited. I went about 2 years without working out whatsoever so it's taking a bit to catch up. Also with it getting cold it's making it a touch more complicated.
I'm trying to give background information, and what is available to me but I feel like I am rambling on. So I will leave it at that but if you have other questions, just ask them and I will answer it as soon as I get a chance.
Anything is useful. Thanks!
