HI! I'm ready to motivate and be motivated!

Guten Tag (Hello!)

I'm Jen. My husband and I live in Germany (we're American) and have succumbed to the rich foods of our area. I'm an experienced gym-rat having frequented gyms for 15years but I'm not so good at maintaining the good things I get from there (muscles, fitness) with a more balanced diet.

What brought me here? Well I was with Ediets last year before we came here and I lost 5lbs but I didnt need the recipes so much as I needed the people support. This time I found this forum and what drew me were the challenges. I really enjoy those. I'm ready for a new committment. I have the time, resources and means to do so. However I have some hurdles and those are...
  • I'm an emotional eater
  • I'm a snacker (like reading at the counter; eating out of the box)
  • I reward myself too much with bad foods

I look forward to working with you all to make positive, life-long changes in our lives so we are healthier and more productive for ourselves, our families and our jobs.

Guten tag Jen.

Welcome aboard. I am new here also. Sounds like you have a very organised mind in regards to this :) My problem also is that I reward myself with bad foods...I also tend to want to "eat what I want when I want." Mind you I eat maybe 2 to three times a day depending on the day :) I too like the challenges and it is why I came aboard. Hope to see you around with weight coming off of that ticker of yours ;)
