Something terrible happend

ok last nite i was running around with my dog and he got under my feet i had to jump over him (he is a rot) and my ankle hit him and i came down on it..

Now i know that it is sprang but how long before i can start running and doing my normal leg work outs, should i let the sorness go away or bare the pain.

Also should i still do my upper body routine since i am on my 4th day of loding fase with celltech i dont want to have to quit taking it, and start over.
 
i'd see a doctor and get it xray'd, you would be surprised how easily something can get a hairline fracture or something
 
I've never forgotten the pain when this happens.

Do not rush back to activity involving the legs until most of the pain's gone. X-Ray's useful but not essential IMO unless it hasn't healed appreciably in 4-5 days. Ice in the meantime initially.

No reason not to do upper body in the meantime if you're careful not to aggrevate the injury.

Agreed. Most upper body exercises can be done laying or sitting down, you should be ok doing an upper body routine. Just be careful moving weights around.
