what does a day in your shoes look like diet wise? cuz u can be eating a certain amt of calories but are you eating the right kind.

diet

alright well usually in the morning i'll have a protein shake with a yougurt maybe a bowl of cereal with low calories in it.....at lunch i'll have some fruit like apples and bananas than throughout the day i'll snack on some nutrigrain bars and usually 3 bottles of water.....along with a salad possibly a buttered bagle.....and at dinner i'll probably have some sort of chicken dish or soup or something....it could possibly be some days even less than 1500 calories

Your diet needs work. Too many carbs and not nearly enough protein. At you size you should keep you calories at least at 2000-2200, 40% protein, 30% complex carbs, and 30% good fat. Eat no carbs after 6 pm.
Try and drink 6-8 bottles of water also.
What does your workout look like?

First of all, you are doing well in that you are avoiding the junk, and drinking water, so that's good.

But there are a few things to work on.
*Try to eat more, I don't think 1500 kcal is sufficient for you.
*Balance out what you are eating. Make sure you get plenty of protein, fruits, veggies, low/non fat dairy, and whole grains
*Bagel - try to switch to whole wheat if you haven't already and try it with some low fat cottage cheese for a bit of protein
*The NutriGrain bars are a better choice than, say, a candy bar or bag of chips. I like to think of things like Nutrigrain bars as a nice stepping stone. When you are converting your eating habits from garbage to healthy, they help to ease the transition away from the junk. But, I don't prefer them as a long term choice b/c they are a processed food that contains their fair share of junk. So, use them on occassion and try to add in more foods to snack on like veggies w/ a low fat dip, fruit & lowfat cottage cheese, small salads w/ grilled chicken (in a pinch I sometimes use the canned chicken breast for convenience).

thanks
