OK, so here I am.

Just recently I have really started hitting the gym again. I went through a "cutting" phase trying to get my abs out. I didn't spend enough diet time, so they didn't come out so good!!

Anyways, thoughts and what not? I just turned 43, so keep that in mind!! I won't show my back (pathetic) or my legs (chickeny!!) I guess my goals are prob to add a little more size and more def. I am 5ft 9 and about 170 pounds right now.

Hey man not gonna lie you have the exact same build as my dad lol and hes 43 also. He just started the "cutting" phase as well about a month ago trying to get rid of the fat on his sides. You look like you have a great frame and if you lose a lil you could be beastly. Just gotta stick through with the DIET. we know thats the hardest part but i think eventually you get your used to it as mine is right now. Lift those weights and so that cardio 4-6 times a week and in know time i bet you see some difference. Good luck to you
 
oh i apologize i didnt realize you said you went through the cutting phase already. If you want to bulk up just keep lifting and eat lots and lots of healthy food but personally I feel like if you really try you can still get those abs you desire
