Some input on my program please

Hello everyone! This is my first post on the forum and I apologize if this is in the wrong spot. I guess I should mention a little about myself. I am a single mom of four boys ages 9-4 and have been working from home for the last 3 years. During my high school years I was really active in sports and stayed at a healthy weight.

Through the years in an abusive marriage and the births of my children I have slowly gotten really out of shape. When I started working from home I would get in the habit of eating when bored.

A few weeks ago I made a conscious choice to change the way I am and surprisingly I have not found it that hard. I have rarely been tempted and when I am I just ask myself if the item is worth looking the way I do and the answer is always no.

I just wanted to get some input from some of you who have been successful thus far about the way I am trying to drop the weight. For the last few weeks I have maintained a daily calorie intake of between 1100-1300 calories after exercise. I am 5'8" and 215 pounds and I want to get down to 165 which is a good weight for my body type and what I weighed all through high school.

For exercise I have been slowly building up to be able to jog an extended period of time. I walk/jog for at least 30 minutes everyday at nothing under 4 mph. I have had a pulled muscle in my back which has been healing for the last week so I have not been able to do my aerobics/strength training, but I usually do another 30 minutes of a workout program from Comcast on demand to keep it different and fun.

Any help or advice on my program would be welcomed and appreciate. Have a wonderful day all and I am sorry this ran so long.
