Some confusion here...

Take broccoli as an example...

1 cup = 46 calories
4.6g protein
8.6g carbs
0.4g fat

but if you take...
4.6 x 4 = 18.4
8.6 x 4 = 34.4
0.4 x 9 = 3.6
Calories = 56.4

How is this possible?

they round numbers, and also, 1 gram of carbohydrate does not have exactly 4 calories, maybe a little more, or less, but it gives you a good idea. the same with fat & protein
