I think it's great that you want to be more athletic. I think you would benefit from building up some lean muscle mass, then doing a tiny bit of fat loss to uncover the nice firm muscle you have built.
Building muscle requires challening your muscles by lifting heavy weights. You could do 3 full body workouts per week, and 3 cardio sessions. I recommend mixing up your cardio; sometimes long, slow sessions, sometimes short, fast sessions, some intervals.
With your weight training you will have to have a program that hits each muscle group properly, not overtraining one and undertraining another. Compound movements are best. It's also very important to learn proper form before you go too heavy.
