so what do i do

hey i need some help see i want to lose about 5-6 pounds of fat but everybody tells me if i eat to little i will stunt my growth and i'm only 5'2 and about 125 pounds. see i'm 13 years old and i'm not in that bad of shape i weight lift 3 times a week and i run about 20 mins a day and play basketball so i'm not siting on my ass all day.

now back to my question like how many calories should i eat a day to lose some fat on my stomect and now stunt my growth i already eat like 1200-1700 calories a day but today a got about 1080 so how many should i eat so please help thanks
 
1st thing you should do is stop reposting this every time you get an answer you don't like. I hate to break it to ya man, the SAME people read these posts day in and out, and were gonna give you the same answer. WE DON'T KNOW! We are not experts on nutrition for teenagers. All the stuff we know or read about pertains to adults. You need to talk to your parents about seeing a nutritionist if your that concerned.

we would gladly help you but what allen said is true asking your parents to see a nutritionist at this point would be your best option or try google for young teen nutrition.
