I didn't have the healthiest eating habits during my four years of college (I graduated in May) and as a result my weight has fluctuated throughout the four years. I figured now is the time to learn to eat healthier and try to get into better shape. (Sadly I don't have a job yet --still looking so my days consist of sending out resumes and praying someone likes what they read! I just finished a temp job at an office and probably won't get another one for a month or so.) Anyway, I do not have a specific weight that I want to reach--I just want to feel better about myself because I can be quite hard on myself and tend to be neurotic about food...which is really unhealthy. I generally do not have the best attitude about eating. I always ALWAYS feel guilty after eating something crappy. So hopefully I'll be able to improve and that writing it all down here will help. I am planning on starting this healthy eating tomorrow even though I have a slight cold & it's labor day weekend which = BBQs and I've never met a cheeseburger I didn't like...
I guess I should also add that I am 22 years old, I am only 5'0" and I currently weigh 121lbs. I am going to try to aim to eat 1200-1350 calories a day. I also plan on doing cardio (at least 45 minutes) 5 times a week and strength training 3 times a week. In a dream world I would love to be 100lbs or look as good as Eva Longoria--but I'd be fine with getting back down to 113-115lbs even.
