Hi All
im so glad I found this forum on the internet. i can see its going to be just the support i need and a lot of fun and hopefully i can post/comment to other people with anything useful over time
I have a lot of weight to lose but i know i can do it
i have already done 2 big challenges the last few years which were stop smoking and stay stopped ( 2 years ago) and return to work after 20 yrs of being a stay at home mother to 3 children ( one disabled)
nobody thought i would stop smoking , nobody thought i would ever work again after 20 years at home, no qualifications, a bad employment market at the moment & a few years of terrible health including heart scares and cancer scares , but ive got through all these obstacles and this is just one more challenge to become the person i want to be .
i do still have anaemia as a side effect of some permanent medication i take , so i find i get out of breath on exertion easily but ive just returned to work cleaning an office block for 2 hours every night so walking there and back and hoovering 4 flights, cleaning 21 toilets and lugging the hoover up and down the stairs im treating as my personal keep fit program ,
cant wait to dip into this forum properly every night when i get home as my treat for coming through another day of eating properly and taking some exercise , forgive me in advance if i spend the next few weeks lurking, exploring and reading until i dip my toe in the water and post stuff,
i dont have a clue how to use the forum yet so bear with me
im 51 married to a wonderful man who loves me no matter what i look like or what health ive been in and he has been my rock, 3 kids ages 13,15,19 , im a bit on the shy side in real life but once i know people i dont shut up and can talk for england which is where i live in the UK
