So frustrated! This Plateau is killing me....

Hey everyone,

I am soooo frustrated. I was doing so well losing about 1-2 pounds per week. I went from 170 starting in April 08 to now October 08 at 149. I have been at 149 since August! I have researched about changing my exercise routines and foods to break through but I already spin twice per week, kick-box twice per week and weight train twice per week all for an hour a piece. How much could I change my exercise routine to mix it up? Also I will eat any healthy food I'm not picky and I barely eat the same thing everyday, not to mention I do weight watchers and eat b/w 23-25 points per day. Does anyone know what could be my problem? Should I start running again and cut out something else? I have no clue, I'm so confused and I really want to hit my goal of 135 sooner rather than later! Please, any advice would help.

You could always change your exercise routine up. Switch up what you do in the gym, add new things into your weight trainning. etc..
 
Hey, i was stuck at 146 for about a month,or two, till i just took a break for a couple weeks, started walking and didnt worry to much but didnt eat bad, it worked because i lost another pound so im finally gettingit off

Yea now that i think of it I really haven't given myself a break.....maybe one or two days at the most but i get paranoid that ill gain....ill try it for a bit slow down the exercise a lil....thanks everybody!
 
That's the exact mentality that gets people into these pitfalls.

I won't rest for more than a day or two b/c I'll get fat.

Need to ditch that mentality.

FYI, I've dealt with some clients who had 5 weeks or more of a combo of rest and eating more.

Unless you want to end up in that position... I'd focus on changing your preconceived, wrong notions.
