Snowboarding anyone?

Anyone else addicted to it? :cool3:

Sadly, I only got a few sessions in this year :( But they were all awesome! I had one day this year after we had a good storm come through leaving TONS of fresh powder and it was by far the best day I've had in a while.

I'd really like to get one more session in for the spring before the resorts around here start to close. Only got a couple weeks left really, not that the snow will be that great but it'd still be nice to get one last session in!

And what do you ride? I've got a used Ride Industries 144cm I picked up this last year with '08 Burton Freestyle Bindings (LOVE 'em!) and some Ride Ind. boots to go with it. Probably going to pick up a new board and boots before this next season...

Very cool...what do you think about Flow Snowboards?

Don't know much about them really. I'm still somewhat new to the sport myself, only been boarding for a few years. Never heard anything bad about them anyway :)

I took up snowboarding in 1998 and quit it in 2001 when I broke my left leg.
That's too bad you broke your leg :speechless: Was it a pretty bad break?

I had a LOT of friends get injured this past season... Broken pelvises, wrists, ribs, collapsed lungs, various sprains, a concussion, etc. After a few very hard falls last year I decided it was worthwhile to wear a helmet. I try not get get in over my head, but I do push myself to improve :)

No, it was a minor break. It was my left tibia, real close to the foot. I had to wear a non-walking cast with crutches for 8 weeks (major PITA) but I was able to drive an automatic car since I am American.
