Two things- if you are doing lots of squats and lunges then you are working that booty muscle. It may get slightly larger. BUT...
If you are anything like me, my booty is round but has some fat covering it. So in reality my goal is fat loss and not necessarily booty loss. Make sense so far?
Okay, so since we cannot spot reduce fat (i.e. I wanna lose weight in my legs so I need to run) we need to do a healthy overall body fat reduction program. Get a good program filled with weight training, cardio and proper nutrition for fat loss.
You notice that the squats and lunges will build a healthy and solid booty, but the cardio, extra lean muscle mass, and proper nutrition will decrease overall body fat- including the booty. Result= smaller, but firmer booty.
