Slimming down Bulky thighs

Hello! I am 21 years old and recently over-did it on the abductor- adductor machine and seem to have built some muscle on my innner thighs in a way I didn't want to. I used to do cross country and was a sprinter on my track team all through highschool and I fear I have built the muscle back in a way I didn't want to. It took me a while to get my thighs back to slim yet toned legs and now I feel they are back to being bulky. I feel a bit helpless and unsure how to go about getting my legs back to being toned but still being slim and how to go about losing muscle mass, but not just getting completely flabby. Any help is appreciated.
