I saw the commercial for Slimin6 yesterday. Wow!! Talk about preying on people's insecurities AND pushing fitness myths to try to sell something.
Strength training makes women bulky..yeah..okay.
You don't want to work out in the gym because everyone else there is in great shape...yeah...okay
They push the first myth about strength training, and then at the end of the commercial spout off the benefits of resistance training with their rubber bands to 'tone' muscle. Okee dokee. Make up your mind.
And don't get me started on the before and after photos. They need to hire someone with better photoshoppe/CG skills than the 7 year old that must currently hold that job.
Sad that people fall for this, and even sadder that a company would stoop so low in their marketing.
