Sleeping In - Do you need less calories?

I rarely sleep in, I usually get up at 7am or earlier every day and have breakfast.

However on Sundays some times I sleep in till as late as 11:30am. Should I get up as normal and have breakfast and then have lunch at the normal time? Or should I wait until lunch about an hour later?

If your sleeping in that much surely you dont need those calories from lunch, because wouldnt your expenditure for the day be less as you are just sleeping?

Yesterday I got up at 11:30am and had breakfast, then just had a snack and then dinner because I wasn't hungry. Is this bad?

to not distrupt your speeping patterns... it's suggested that you not sleep in... that you get up around the same time every day and go to bed at the same time every day -of course there will be exceptions... but you want to keep it as regular as possible...

you should also keep regular eating habits ... but once in a while - it won't kill you.

I usually eat about the same number of calories regardless of the length of my day, but the timing varies depending on when I get up. There are no set meal times at our house, so I just eat when I'm hungry. If I'm not hungry on a given day, and eat fewer calories, it'll be made up for on an extra-hungry day when I eat more.
