Sit Ups and Running

I would like to know how to prepare for a police test which is as follows. I need to do 1.5 mile run in 14.34 and 34 situps in a 1 Minute what is the best way to prepare and condition myself for this task? I have 4 months to get ready 34 year old male 220lbs 6'3" .
