sick

i am coming down with a cold...so i dont feel up to running ...what exercise can i replace while i am sick to still burn calories?
 
Dont be crazy - If you have a cold the best thing you can do is sleep it off and dont start training till your back at 100%.

If you try training you wont do very well. You wont recover properly and you'll make it worse/ Save your energy for healing.

Training will only make it last longer, so get fixed up ASAP so you can get your running shoes on again in a week.
 
Same story here...been sick for the past week so I haven't ran at all. However, I still lost a couple pounds just being sick lol :) From what I understand, when your sick your body's metabolism increases so you burn more calories just recovering from being sick. Guess that's why I lost weight.

True, but hopefully nobody will go out and stand in a blizzard with shorts and a tshirt for hours.
