Hello.
I have always been bigger than most but not too big. Family and friends call me 'buff' , but I have been called fat by several people...I am a 5'9'', 222 lbs, 18 year old, male.
I have very muscular arms, and legs, but it is my mid section that could use the most work. I am sure it has to do with my eating habits which are not bad, but very southern. My goal weight is 195-200. I don't want to have abs, just lean.
To me, my weight loss is a personal thing. I want to have confidence in myself and not have to think about what that person sees when I take my shirt off at the beach. I have low self-esteem, about this and only this. I have tried losing weight for 3 years, with no success, and now is the time to do it for myself.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am not gonna kill myself with counting or starving. I am cutting fried, processed, and unhealthy foods out of my life starting now. I want to begin working out with a focus on my mid section ( again, any suggestion would be great), some at a gym, but mostly in my home in the mornings and at night.
Thanks for reading and support!
