shoulders

hi -

Through my research I've been hearing that shoulders take more time to develop - are weaker and thus upping your weight on them goes somewhat slower than in relation to the other muscle groups. Is this the experience of others? It seems to be mine but I'm wanting to find out if that is in fact what it is.

Feedback?

Thanks - D

Hey,

When it comes to me... my shoulders and back are the first to get bigger. My chest and bi's seem to take a little more work. Like everything else... in training size gains, speed of recovery, etc does vary too much between individuals.

Yeah, my shoulders, arms and back show change quickly - but my chest requires more attention. I have always attributed it to the type of workouts I have done though.

In the past I used a military press machine that worked well for my shoulders. I now just do variations of pull ups.

Hope this helped somehow.

McCarley, Just curious but how do pullups work your shoulders?
Pull-ups are a pulling motion... in which you will work your lats bi's and what not. Military press would actually hit your shoulders.

Let me know.
