Shoulder Injury...

Hey Guys, I used to lift back in college (4 years ago) and did so pretty much 5 days a week. But after I graduated I moved on to my masters program at rutgers and about 2-3 months in I hurt my shoulder bad... real bad. The specialist doctor said I was "tearing my AC joint" and I should take some time off. He suggested 6 months. Five months into the wait time My shoulder felt fine so I started lifting again and 2 months later I hurt it again. Waited 3 months and again 2 months later I hurt it again. Basically I am looking for a way to rehabilitate it at this point. Does anyone have any advice or a program I can follow with this? I haven't been to the gym since december... I'm hoping that is enough time off now. I've even given up swing dancing... something that I have been doing for a while in hopes of getting this shoulder to heal. :(

ahhhh the gud ol ac. Not much you can do except allow it to heal. Not that sure but if it doesnt heal doesnt that mean surgery?

anyways good luck.
