All of a sudden I feel like I'm losing too quickly... I lost 4.6 lbs last week and I'm eight months into the process...That seems like a lot this late in the game. I have been eating 1500 calories a day and exercising 5-6 days a week. I usually do about 45 min to an hour of cardio and I just started taking pilates 2 X a week.

I've been staying away from anything white and trying to eat lots of protein...I'm also trying to cut back on refined sugar. This is a sample of what I ate yesterday. It totaled about 1400 calories...Some days I may eat a little less and other days I eat more. I do average about 1500 a day.

Breakfast:
egg beaters
2 slices of bacon
2 slices of whole grain toast

Lunch:
1/2 chicken salad sand.
cup of fruit

Dinner:
4 oz of chicken breast
Brussel sprouts
wild rice

snacks:
yogurt
apple desert

I've lost weight quickly in the past and I've gained it..I'm not interested in gaining any weight back this time...I'm trying to take it off for good!!

What should I do to slow down the weight loss?? Should I just stick to what I've been doing and not stress about it? I know I need to be eating more veggies and I'm working on that... :)

Thanks!!

we're not nutritionists here.. .but honestly, except for the bacon (which is high in sodium and can cause water weight gain) it looks like you're doing great... your meal plan looks like you're getting the right amounts from all the food groups...

I think you are doing pretty good. Ya know...I have been at this since the beginning of the year and my weight pretty much trickles off now. But occassionally, I will have a week or two where I suddenly drop a chunk. I have read somewhere that you will lose fat, but the cells hold some water. You can lose that water all of a sudden. I think I read that somewhere on here. It makes sense to me. I wouldn't worry about a single 4.6 loss in a week.
