Shirataki noodles

Has anyone heard of shirataki noodles? I have heard Hungry Girl talk about these and recently read about these in a magazine but haven't been able to find them locally. I might order online if I can get some good reviews. I would like to try with spaghetti sauce but looking for other ideas.

they are yam based noodles with a really pungent smell when you open the package... which is a little off putting - rinsing them helps get rid of the smell - and they cook quickly

I prefer them with asian based sauces - like a really strong curry or in a noodle soup - thoug hte hungry girl method of using some lauging cow cheese wedges and making it a fake alfredo didnt suck

I dont like them with a tomato based sauce -the texture just wouldn't work for me and they don't totally taste like pasta - they're good - and I like them but it's not the same taste as spaghetti - at least to me

I've tried them and loved them. They seem a little chewier than pasta noodles, but I thought they were excellent.
