ok i guess ill give this a try :p Ok im an 18 yrd old guy, 6'0" and weight 180-183lbs (vaires) id like to bulk up, while also maintaining my weight as much as i can. I try to eat as healthy as possible but its hard as hell :( I come from a dutch family so my grandma always cooks big, fatty,hearty, delicious meals, lol. Im only starting this journal now, but i have been dieting/working out for about...3 weeks - 1 month now, pretty much every day for 1-3 hours (depending on the night).

HW: 210 (last month :( )
CW: 180
GW: 170 (or until i feel i look good, this weight may change because im doing lots of weight training, and muscle weights more that fat)


I also take supliments that say they burn fat, increase metabolism, and control apitite. Take 2, 1 hour before lunch+supper

Todays menu was:

Breakfast: none (worked from 3am-12am)
Lunch: Salad (mixed greens, cucumber, celery, and low fat honey mustard dressing (1-2 tbsp)
(slept cuz i only got 2 hours sleep (1:00pm-3:00pm)
Supper: (OH NO! no healthy food left! gotta go shopping asap) Had the healthiest thing i could whip up, a tuna sandwhich. I used a can of tuna (85cals, very low fat) with 1/2 tbsp mayo (no light mayo left(and yes it didn't hold together like it would had i used more mayo, but i only put it in so it wouldn't fall out of the sandwhich :D)
Snack: (again, no real healthy stuff) Celery with 1/2 tbsp home made peanutbutter (just peanuts, no oils/fats)

Going to the gym tonight as i do every day from 8:00-10:00 (got work tomorrow again, cant go longer)

Gym routine:

stretch for 3min, toss medicin ball to stretch arms

go on bike for 30-40min (been burning an average of 800-1000cals on the bike per day)

for the last 1hour and a bit i work out with weights. I try to switch it up as to not get bored, or if my muscles are hurting a bit i do something else.

I try to work out all the muscles i can.

i should have taken in more cals today but there simply wasn't enough time or food period. I pretty much filled up on water when i was hungry.
 
you lost 30 pounds in one month? damn... you're doing something right! Make sure you drink lots of water... your muscles will thank you!
you're doing good though.. and I would hardley call a guy that's 6 foot @ 180 fat!
 
since it seems like you are about to go grocery shopping, I wanted to suggest this "alternative" to things like mayo and sour cream... I use non-fat yogurt... which is a bit tangy, but works well as a substitute for both of the above... I get a fairly large tub, and use it for everything... I also take yogurt and add some berries (i buy a big frozen bag, and just microwave about 1/2 cup each morning to thaw them out) and a bit of granola, and voila! breakfast in less than a minute.
 
if your mixing your frozen fruit in your yogurt for later in the day, you may not have to thaw it... it should keep your yogurt cooler all day, and be ready for you by lunch/snack time...
 
well....my weight training is out the window :( i fell and broke my arm last night, and with the pain that its in, wont be able to go to the gym for a week or so. If anything ill ONLY be able to do cardio
 
sorry to hear about your arm! take some time off it! drink up buddy :) ge tthat water!!!
dont worry - just be acareful with your arm! dont rush too quick back into anything!
