For the past couple weeks, I've been having intermittent shoulder pain in ONLY my right shoulder. It's a sharp pain that feels DEEP in my shoulder.
Below is a picture of the area:
It's a sharp pain that feels like it's in the joint. Not like muscle soreness or a pulled muscle, but maybe something like a pinched nerve.
When the pain started showing up, it was only when I when I started riding again. Specifically, when I did tricks on the front wheel like:
Didn't hurt any other time, even during my workout routines. But it only showed up when I have the weight on my shoulders in THAT POSITION. Nose manuals, nose hops, gaps to front wheel, etc. When my arms are holding my body from hitting the bars and supporting/pushing away my body from the handlebars. Or, say I was trying to do do front raises with dumbells. Like this:
Those are the only times it hurts. There's NOTHING in my left arm whatsoever. I've never had any shoulder problems or injuries either. If anything, I would expect this kind of behavior from my other shoulder, since that's the shoulder I used when dropping into things when breakdancing.
I have full range of motion, and it doesn't hurt when I move my arm in any direction. Doesn't hurt during push-ups in any fashion, but today, noticed it was showing up when I did pull-ups. Not nearly to the level of when doing things on the front wheel of my bike, though. But it was definitely there.
Anybody have any idea what I can do to alleviate this issue? or what the issue is at all?
