Severe headache on the Incline Bench

I was doing the incline bench today, no extreme weight or high number of reps, just the standard thing, and my head really started to hurt. It was a throbbing ache towards the back of my head, and I've never had anything like that before while working out. I don't have any conditions I'm aware of, and have up until this point, had healthy exercise sessions.

What could the issue be? Is there something I'm missing?
 
The only thing I can think of is that you have a muscle spasm in your posterior neck, that triggered a headache. But if it's a "new" type of pain and persistent, I suggest you get to the emergency room! Let us know how you're feeling.
