Title says it all. What can one do about this? I can't just not reach down and touch my toes, I can't even kick above my waist. This has prevented me from ever seriously considering doing a martial art, but now I'm finding it's also preventing me from doing exercises like stiff-legged deadlifts. I incorporated some static stretches into my routine a couple of months ago, and more recently some PNF stretches, but I've seen very little actual gain in flexibility. Anyone else had to deal with it? How do you overcome this?
