Setting Goals

Ok....I started out at 238 and I want to get to 150. Herbalife body analysis gave me a goal of 174. My question is....should I set "little goals" for myself....First like...200, then 175, then 150 or should I just go for whole thing at 150? I don't want to set myself up for failure, so was wondering...if I set my final goal for 150 and have "milestones" at the others? What has worked for others?

small goals...i started out at 185 knowing i eventually wanted to get to 120 soemthing but only actually setting a goal of 170 first, then 150, then 140. the lower i get the harder it seems to lose the weight so my goals are getting smaller each time. if you make your goal (or milestone) too big, you will just get frustrated. also once you reach a certain weight be prepared for a major plateau because it WILL happen. if you keep up tho you will eventually get past it if you change something up. currently im about 138 and my goal is 135. when your at a high weight like i was, it seems i should be happy at 138 but im not! i mean im thankful not to be heavy anymore but it seems like i'll just never be satisfied!

I'd set it in 10 pds goals, go for a goal of 220 and then buy yourself a new top or something nice!

Yup ive always given myself 5-10lbs goals, works well bc you dont get disscouraged as fast and it doesnt seem so overwhelming that way. then you can reward yourself with something good(i didit for every ten lbs id get something good lol(but not food)then when i hit "big numbers" like going from 200 to 199 id get something really really good lol)
