Hellloooo all.
I need some advice here, I've lost 40 pounds, I'm stuck at 203 pounds! Arg.

basically my eating is as follows:

breakfast-
2 slices of ww bread, and 1 egg
1 cup of coffee with splenda

lunch- a turkey sandwhich with all vegetables, no butter mayo cheese or anything, OR a salad, a yogurt, a piece of fruit

dinner is usually salmon, or chicken with salad or brown rice and vegetables.

Now my thoughts here are maybe i'm not eating enough as i'm going to the gym four times a week- half hour of jogging on the treadmill at 6.0, and then half hour of weight training, half hour of pilates in the evening,

i'm also thinking maybe my bodys used to this and I need to switch it up.

whaddya think, any advice on upping the fitness and workouts, or changing what i'm eating?

The day I go under the 200 and see that big fat 1 in the front is going to be oh so joyous! and its just so frusterating that its 203! of all things.

thankyouuu :)

i`d change your breakfast to cereal, 4 slices of bread a day is alot. i usually just have 2 slices in a sandwich at lunch.

hey, I didn't think my full meals out I guess, On the days I have toast in the morning, I'll have salad for lunch, On the days I have cereal (special k) I'll have a sandwhich..
I wish I could completely cut out the bread all together but I love it! :(

well, your right that its low in cals...do you know how many cals you tend to consume?? Also, the diet you posted anyhow, looks like its high in carbs...veggies, rice, bread. Maybe you should cut some of that out and work on protien consumtion?

When I get stuck I try to eat a little more, not a lot, for a day or two, then I cut back again and I change up what I eat.

I've lost 30 lbs like five times, and I always get stuck around 18 lbs lost.

I've been eating egg white omelettes. I use either a half cup of egg whites or 1/4 cup. It's great protien, and it seems like so much more. It leaves enough calories so I put a ton of veggies and a slice of chopped up turkey bacon. It's really good.

It would probably be better protein for you in the morning. My omelette is usually about 300 calories so I'll eat some fruit or something to make my breakfast 400 cals, because that is my magic number for energy. Any less and I'm hungry in an hour, and dragging my feet.

Have you tried incorporating healthy snacks? I try to eat, after breakfast, about four more meals. I eat a snack between breakfast and lunch, it's usually about 150-200 cals. Then I eat lunch, another snack and dinner. I pick how big the meal can be based on what I'm craving and how many calories I have left for the day. My meals generally don't go over 400 though.

Anyways, maybe you're not grazing enough. If I only ate three meals a day I'd go crazy. Aside from that, eating often helps to keep you energetic, full and your metabolism loves it.

look up plateau, both here an online, there's a lot of specific scientific information out there on how to beat a plateau.... maybe you should eat more for a few days... really... but have a look, I'm not really too knowledgeable about this.

It's hard to advise when we don't know how many calories you're eating daily. 900? 1600? 2200?

I don't think four slices of bread of day is bad if you're only eating, say, 1400 calories/daily. But if you're borderline maintenance mode, then it could be the difference. Also, how much sugar are you eating (not trace sugar, but processed sugar)?
