If you are in this kind of shape at 16, unless you take some serious steps NOW, your health is going to be comprimsed as you get older.

You should get with a health professional that specializes in weight loss through lifestyle change.

I know that you can be successful.

Glad you are searching for information. The more information you have, the better your results. You are going to hear A LOT of conflicting information as you read through different forums.

I'll start by saying that if you want to bodybuild (like hardcore bodybuild) then this is not your forum. Head over to bodybuilding.com.

If you just want to drop body fat, look lean, increase muscle size and get healthy then this is your forum.

The first thing you need to do is to decide that you really wanna lose fat. To do that you need to eat 5-6 small meals a day. Each meal should be every 2-3 hours apart and the first meal should be eaten within an hour after waking. Each meal should include a protein and a carb.

I know you have school and that makes it VERY hard. So do the best you can. Eat a protein/carb breakfast (oatmeal/egg whites) and a glass of water. Every 3 hours after that, try to give your body something. During school your only choice may be a protein bar. Im not a fan of them at all, but it may be your only choice. Try to get a protein bar with LOW carbs and more protein.

Workout 5-6 days per week. Don't workout for more than an hour each day. Your workout should include a strength training routine and cardio. This will lean you out and add muscle. To find specific routines try doing a search on the Internet or searching through these forums.

The basic element here is to get serious... get a plan of attack... and then MOVE :)

Just get active. Get that heart rate pumping. Be active on a regular basis. Eat really well because this is 75% of the battle. Sorry to say but it is. :)

Oh, and no more juices. They are ALL sugar :(
