Serious FatLoss Before Vacation

16 years old im about 5,10 and i weigh about 215-220 area i want to be 160 pounds. im going on a vacation around july and i need to look fit so i can get some girls and feel more confident in myself can you guys help me out on what should i be working out in the gym calorie intake and how much i should cut for a diet

Well you'll probably hear better info from other people but i would say a ton of cardio w/ rest every couple of days. A Good clean diet... no cokes snack candies or anything of that sort. You know just keep it clean. Run probably 4 to 5 times a week at least. Maybe do the HIIT training. Check out that side of the forum to learn more about that. Also long distance is good for getting real thin. You may lose a little muscle in the long run if you do it a lot but youll be skinny. Other than that just try harder every day and work as much as possible within reason. Anyone know of any good diet supplements possibly? I dont ive never taken any so i wouldnt know.
 
i agree completely with the poster above. wont be easy losing that much weight but if you're serious about it do a ton of cardio and most of all watch that diet - no fast food, sodas, crapfood like poptarts, frozen dinners, pizzas, etc.
 
yes, pop tarts are that bad.

there is absolutely nothing i can say in defense of pop tarts. but that does not mean you should skip breakfast. skipping breakfast will competely destroy any hopes of fat loss. but, it should be something more healthy than a pop tart.
 
make some oatmeal, if your limited in time in the morning, make the night before, put it in the fridge and them microwave it in the morning.

yeah and as far as oatmeal goes, stay away from that flavored stuff...its all sugar...
 
the reason pop tarts are bad is because for all the calories and fat they deliver, you get virtually no protein, fiber, or anything else of any nutrition. might as well eat a candy bar if you're gonna do poptarts, they're pretty much the same thing.

No i wasnt, but ty for the info about the pop tarts. I dont really have much choice for breakfast. I eat at school in the morning and just take what i can get. The government supplies the food supposedly or it at least goes by "regulations" but it cant be as bad as fast food.

Im new here, and was going to post this exact same thing, but not for girls, just for me. I never hit 220 pounds in my life till this year. And I feel it when I bend and such. Although its only in the gut, and if I wear a loose t-shirt, no one can really tell, I still want to loose that pot belly really bad. So, long distance running is the key? I used to be about 180-190 max, at 6 ft tall.
I used to jog like mad when I was 22-27. Then I stopped to see if I would gain and I didnt, till I hit 34. Guess thats my magic number where I cant just do nothing any more like I used to, lol. So, 5 times a day, long distance. What would long distance be in time, 1 hr a day? And, being as I havent jogged in like forever, should I get started slow and build up to a max?
