Hi, I am almost 35 years old and female. I am 5"10 and currently 170 pounds. I recently lost 5 pounds and want to lose at least 10 more. I had a wake up call back in Feburary when I stepped on the scales for the first time in a year and saw that I had gained 15 pounds. I have come to a lot of realizations about the types of food I have been eating and have made lots of positive changes.
I cut out all the junk,eat more fresh fruit and veggies and keep my calories below 1800 each day,usually below 1600. I exercise everyday on my exercise bike for at least 30 minutes but also am moving a lot in general as I do lots of housework,childcare and horsecare. I began exercising alone at the first of Feburary but got no results.Then in the last week of March I changed my diet as well and lost 5 pounds in a week.My scales just suddenly dropped from 175 to 170.
I have continued to count calories, eat right and exercise everyday at an intense level but the scales are not moving anymore.I have amazing looking legs from all that pedaling but the rest of me stays the same. What is wrong? I would love to be back at 150 pounds again,would be happy to at least get to 160 again, but at this rate It seems it will never happen. I hate my belly,hips and back fat and want it gone so I can look good in my bikini before summer.I suffer from chronic back pain daily that prevents me from doing certain types of exercise but I am on my exercie bike without fail everyday. The guages say I burn between 350-400 calories and my intesity is between 16-22 mph. What am I doing wrong and how do I get the scales to continue going down ?
