Gah. Back again, a good few years or so since I was last on here and I've nearly put back on all of the weight I originally lost. I've been halfheartedly trying for months now to get back on the losing weight wagon but instead, I've just been piling it on. After hopping on the scales about 1 hour ago, and being in a state of disappointed and slightly disgusted (without being too dramatically hard on myself) shock, I've vowed that I have to make some changes.
Stats:
29 (just)
Female
94kg
SOB. SOB. SOB.
So, my pledge to this diary and anyone reading it is that I'm going to give this another go - but a wholehearted attempt this time. I'm going to plan my meals, exercise and cut back on the drinking (hey, I live and work in London and it is a hella massive part of my life right now). I have PT once a week and I will combine that with running, yoga and HIIT training to try and make exercise a habit rather than a chore. I really want to start taking care of myself and feeling good, rather than always having this physical and mental uncomfortable feeling that I just can't shift.
My first mini-goal is to lose 5kg to take me to less than 90kg. I'm not going to set time frames as such, as the end goal is to lose the weight in a healthy way rather than having it drop off and pile back on, but I will have general 'be nice by' dates. This first milestone 'be nice by' target is end of June.
One month. 5kg. Let's goooo.
