How effective is running, does anyone just do that? Should I intake my calories since I burn them running.

Are personal trainers worth it?

Just wondering Just wondering

Hey Kittie!

How effective is running? - In terms of what?

If were talking about calorie expenditure. Than it can be a solid tool for expending calories, given intensity and duration are in check.

Do people just do that? - Sure, some people do just that. However, its likely not going to be considered "optimal".

Not to mention, the body can do an amazing number of things. Meaning a nearly uncountable number of ways to expend calories. So, why make exercise mundane? Mix it up, bike, swim, resistance train, run, stairs,HIIT,rock climb, and so on are just a small number of solid exercise ideas.

Are personal trainers worth it? - This is up to the individual and the individuals goals. Do you "NEED" a C-PT? Of course not, but they can be helpful. The problem is ensuring you found a competent trainer. As, there are a number of complete idiots out there with certifications.

OFF TOPIC,

Hey, hows veterinarian school? Whats the average completion time? 4-6-8 years?

BTW, have you had a chance to play halo 3 yet?

thanks for the response!
Exercise is so overwhelming, so many options! I started running class and lost two lbs just running 1-2 miles everyday.

TODAY i'ma run 3 when the rain lets up ><

It took me two years to get into vet school and will take 4 to complete

It really depends on what track you want to go...bachelors into vet school or straight in?...many people get their bachelors in animal science before vet school ><
I'm just in a hurry to finish school and start working and stuffs...

As for Halo 3 I played a little bit, but haven't had too much time. It looks beautiful on my teevee tho! lol
