Running or Cycling?

Im trying to keep in shape and loose a little more wieght, namely my "love handles". I am going to buy a treadmill or an exercise bike as i work shift work and dont realy want to run around town in the dead of night. I wanted to know what would be better to loose weight with? keeping in mind im doing a dif weight lifting workout some days and wanted to get in cardio, and eating fine.
 
I think they both have their benefits. But I'd say if you spend your days running, get a bike for the evening, not only will you be saving your body from the ease of getting used to a form of exercise -and so not working out as much, with cycling you tend to work with added resistance and therefor build muscles in your legs, this is then usefl when running as you have more power to run faster and for longer and therefor burn more calories.

Eating/waht you eat matters more where weight loss is concerned. Exercise is just the icing on the cake and only has so much of an impact.
